US Deputy Secretary of Defense Elbridge Colby reaffirmed his country's commitment to NATO's collective defence on Thursday and said that Europe remains "of fundamental interest to Washington, despite the fact that the US administration now gives priority to the Western hemisphere and Asia," EFE reports.
