SALEN, Sweden, Jan 11 (Reuters) - Sweden will spend 15 billion Swedish crowns ($1.6 billion) on air defence aimed at primarily protecting civilians and civilian infrastructure, the government said on Sunday.
Sweden will invest 15 billion kronor, or 1.4 billion euros, in its ground air defence, in particular to better protect potential civilian targets, building on Ukraine's experience in the face of the Russian invasion. The announcement was made by the government on Sunday 11 January.
