New 96pc accurate prostate cancer test backed by Chris Hoy

Summary
A new 96 per cent accurate prostate cancer test has been developed by scientists and backed by Olympic cycling champion Sir Chris Hoy. The “truly game-changing” test can diagnose prostate cancer to a very high level of accuracy and identify the disease’s aggression as well as its sub-type. Scientists at EDX Medical, the Cambridge-based digital diagnostic firm behind the initiative, said the test is more accurate than the existing protein-specific antigen (PSA) test offered by the NHS.
