The Spanish Society of Pediatric Neurology (SENEP) warns this Monday of an increase in cases in neuropediatric consultations of a phenomenon, 'digital autism', a term that, although not an official diagnostic category, does describe children who have symptoms similar to Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in relation to the abuse of electronic devices at an early age.
