Report: Keon Ellis Agrees to Two-Year Deal with Nets
The deal gives Brooklyn a 6-foot-5 three-and-D wing who shot better than 40% from 3 in three of his four NBA seasons.
On Tuesday, the Brooklyn Nets signed guard Keon Ellis to a fully-guaranteed two-year, $18 million contract, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
After being acquired from the Sacramento Kings at the 2026 trade deadline, Ellis finished his campaign with the Cleveland Cavaliers as a rotational contributor.
Across 29 appearances in Cleveland, Ellis averaged 8.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 steals while shooting 49.1% from the field, establishing himself as a prototypical three-and-D wing.
The signing reunites Ellis with head coach Jordi Fernández, who previously worked with him in Sacramento, while replacing perimeter defender Ziaire Williams on the Nets roster.
Brooklyn entered the offseason with $180.9 million in total salary cap allocations, continuing to reshape its roster around a core that includes Julius Randle.
