The Federal Government wants to boost the German film industry. There are now additional millions of funding. In addition, international corporations will soon make a higher contribution.
Eight percent of Netflix & Co.'s sales in Germany are to be in German productions from 1 January. It is not to be expected that the portals comply with the Federal Government's plan. And the customer probably does not care about the country of origin of a series.
