Netanyahu's Chief of Staff Detained in Leak Probe

On Sunday, Lahav 433 detained Tzachi Braverman, chief of staff to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on suspicion of obstructing investigative procedures, searching his home before questioning at Lod headquarters.
A probe launched last month intensified after Eli Feldstein, Netanyahu's former spokesman, said Braverman knew of an Israel Defense Forces inquiry into a classified leak to Bild.
Feldstein described a late-night Kirya meeting where Braverman showed him a list of five or six names and an associate said call records, location data and entry logs could identify Braverman earlier.
The investigation has expanded into a classified documents affair involving Ari Rosenfeld and an expected indictment against Jonatan Urich, while Tzachi Braverman has not been formally charged.
Braverman, for his part, denies Feldstein's claim he assured the probe could be neutralized; Feldstein told investigators he shared meeting details with Jonatan Urich and is expected to testify Sunday.
