Nestle discontinues long-standing drink in the UK after 41 years
Nestle said Perrier Lemon has been discontinued in the UK, while Classic Perrier and Maison Perrier remain available in major retailers.
On Monday, Nestle confirmed that it has discontinued Perrier Lemon in the UK, removing the long-standing drink from its lineup after more than 40 years on the market.
First introduced globally in February 1985, Perrier Lemon remained a staple for more than 40 years before its recent removal from the UK market.
Concerned shoppers recently took to Twitter to ask about the product's disappearance, prompting Nestle to reply, "We understand it's disappointing when a favourite product is no longer available."
While some shoppers expressed dissatisfaction with the replacement, Nestle maintains that Classic Perrier and the new Maison Perrier range remain available in major supermarkets and online retailers like Amazon.
This removal follows a broader trend, as Nestle has discontinued several other products in recent years, including Dark Mint KitKat, Smarties Buttons, and Curiously Cinnamon Churros Cereal.
