Warning signs were visible days before a glacier collapse in Nepal that triggered catastrophic flooding last week, according to a group of scientists assessing the disaster in the country.

A new report by the HiRisk consortium of scientists states that the glacier that collapsed causing the deadly landslide and floods in the border region between Nepal and China showed preliminary signs days before the disaster.
