Roosendaal votes against azc Heerle, decision received with applause
The plan for a reception location for asylum seekers in the Brabant village of Heerle is currently off track. On Wednesday evening, the Roosendaal City Council voted against the college's proposal to host three hundred refugees in the outskirts of Heerle. Eighteen council members voted against the plan, sixteen were in favour. The votes were followed by loud applause and cheers in the public gallery.
