Bonheiden Fire Claims 1 Life and Destroys 2 Apartments

In Bonheiden, in the province of Antwerp, a 42-year-old woman died last night in an apartment fire. During the fire, her partner and 2 of her 3 children were at home. They had to be taken to hospital because they inhaled too much smoke. The third child was not at home.

A fierce fire claimed a life in an apartment building on Zwarte Leeuwstraat in Bonheiden on Friday night. Emergency services were quickly on the scene, but for a 42-year-old mother of three, all help came too late.
