Neeyamo unveils AI system for global payroll compliance
The AI system has monitored 11,000+ regulatory developments since 2024 and cut publication-to-recommendation time from three weeks to 48 hours, Neeyamo said.
On Tuesday, Sept 29, 2026, Los Gatos, Calif.-based Neeyamo unveiled Compass, a multi-agent AI system automating regulatory compliance for payroll processing across 160 countries.
Neeyamo deployed generative AI in 2024, but Compass represents the third generation of this technology, advancing from detection and monitoring to active configuration.
Since 2024, the AI has monitored 11,000+ regulatory developments, cutting publication-to-recommendation time to 48 hours and achieving 94 per cent acceptance from reviewers.
Shakil Gour, SVP and head of payroll product and integrations, stated, "That is how AI should be allowed to touch pay," emphasizing direct integration with Neeyamo Payroll.
Beyond regulatory compliance, Compass designs new-country implementations and trains associates before live cycles, expanding its operational scope.
