Nearly 500 new specialist school places are being created across Surrey for children with additional needs and disabilities.

Summary by radiojackie.com
Epsom Downs Primary School is just one that’s expanded its SEND provision. The Fordway Centre in Ashford is also being rebuilt and the new Hopescourt School in Walton is under construction. Helen Maguire, Lib Dem MP for Epsom and Ewell, says this should go some way to ending the “postcode lottery” for parental support. Surrey County Council says more than 17,000 young people are now supported in the area by an Education, Health and Care Plan.
