Nearly 39-thousand people moved from California to Nevada in 2024. That tops the 2023 total of more than 36-thousand-500 people moving from the Golden State to the Silver State. That is according to driver’s license surrender numbers from the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles. The most moves from California to Nevada happened in 2021, during the height of the pandemic. The total number of people who moved that year was 47-thousand-376.
