NCT 127 Returns with 'Blingy' EP, Music Video
The seven-track album marks the K-pop group's 10th anniversary as three original members sit out and the remaining members stress unity.
On Monday, August 24, 2026, South Korean K-pop group NCT 127 released their seventh studio album, "BLINGY," marking their 10th anniversary with a press conference in Seoul.
With vocalists Doyoung and Jungwoo fulfilling mandatory military service, the five-member act of Taeyong, Johnny, Jaehyun, Yuta, and Haechan adapted vocal assignments to fill the void on new material.
The album comprises nine tracks including the hip-hop title song "Blingy" and the ballad "127 Million Miles," which features all seven members on a message about staying connected across distance.
NCT 127 will perform "Blingy" for the first time on Tuesday at 8 p.m. at KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, before launching their fifth world tour at Seoul's KSPO Dome starting September 18.
Taeyong and Jaehyun emphasized that the release prioritizes their 10th anniversary connection with fans, NCTzen, over chart performance. Jaehyun said, "what mattered most was the version of us that our fans have in mind.
