Lima, Sept. 17 (Latin Press) Peruvian President Keiko Fujimori today ordered that the Naval Lyceum cease to be run by the Navy, following the denunciation of the collective rape of a teenager by students of a higher degree. President Keiko Fujimori announced corrective measures following the complaint of alleged sexual assault against a 16-year-old student. The management of the campus, which was in charge of the Navy, will be transferred to the Ministry of Education.
The president indicated that she had talks with three state ministers and asked them to give priority to protection measures for the student allegedly affected.
The measure was announced following the complaint against 10 students for the alleged sexual abuse offence of one of their peers.
President Keiko Fujimori announced that the administration of the Naval Liceo Admiral Guise will move from the Peruvian Navy to the Ministry of Education (Minedu), as part of the measures that the government will adopt following the complaint of sexual assault against a school student.
