A new satellite tool will enable the Alliance to monitor vast areas for the first time, allowing it to observe maneuvers, troop movements and combat operations.
NATO is strengthening its satellite surveillance capabilities in Ukraine and on Russia's border with eastern countries of the alliance, said Pierre Vandier, NATO's Supreme Allied Commander for Reconnaissance and Transformation.
Admiral Pierre Vandier stated that the Alliance extends its satellite surveillance capabilities to cover larger areas, allowing NATO to monitor Ukraine's military movements and along Russia's borders with Eastern European countries.
