- On Saturday, Allwyn paused draw game sales and prize claims in UK shops from 11pm, resuming store terminals at 9am Monday and online at 9.30am.
- Allwyn transferred and upgraded the National Lottery’s gaming and retail systems to new platforms, replacing legacy systems from 2009 in its most significant technological revamp in 31 years.
- The first Wave lottery terminal ticket, among 8,000 across the UK, was bought in Peterlee, Durham after Allwyn sold over 118,000 tickets in the first hour.
