On January 24 and 25, the National Cooperative Snowmobile Operation was held. Across the province, police forces patrolled the snowmobile trails. This was the case of the City of Gatineau Police Service, in collaboration with the police officers of the MRC Public Safety of the Ottawa Hills. In the area, about 50 snowmobiles were addressed, six warnings were given and a $524 offence was reported to a snowmobile that was not allowed to travel.
