Astronomers have discovered completely new objects in space that could help solve two mysteries of astrophysics.
A team of astrophysicists from the University of Alabama identified 84 objects with abnormally weak X-rays and intense ultraviolet radiation, by scanning the public archives of the Chandra Space Telescope. This unprecedented population is spread across six galaxies, including Andromède and the Moulinet.
