Portuguese entry for Eurovision confirmed

The Madeiran band will represent Portugal in the 69th Eurovision Song Contest, which takes place in May in Basel, Switzerland, with a hymn about being away from home.

The song “Deslocado”, performed by NAPA, will represent Portugal in the 68th Eurovision Song Contest, in May in Switzerland. 

The winning theme was chosen through the usual voting system: half of the score is awarded by a jury, composed of representatives from seven regions of mainland Portugal and islands, and the other half by the public vote.
