The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department has released more details on a home invasion last week that resulted in the intruder shot.  The homeowner has been identified as 81-year-old Van Williams of Madisonville, who has since been released from the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the suspect who was shot has been identified as 52-year-old William Hendrix of Morton’s Gap.
