Authorities name victim in Putnam County motorcycle crash

PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. — The man killed in a Putnam County crash last week has been identified. According to Putnam County Sheriff Bobby Eggleton, Daniel Burdette Jr., 30, of Winfield, died last Friday. Burdette’s motorcycle collided with a passenger vehicle on Route 34 just outside Winfield.
