A Sept. 5 Sault Star article by Brian Kelly, “Treaty Group Critical of Metis Buying Land,” described a dispute between Robinson Huron Waawiindamaagewin and the Huron-Superior Regional Métis Community over a recently purchased 320-acre property near Iron Bridge. The details of the disagreement are important, but what struck me most was the apparent lack of conversation.
