Egyptian diplomat Nabil Fahmy appointed as new Arab League chief
Nabil Fahmy, Egypt's former foreign minister, was unanimously appointed to a five-year term as Arab League Secretary-General starting July 1, continuing Egypt's traditional leadership role.
