Two truck drivers were killed in a serious accident on the N48 between Balkbrug and Hoogeveen on Tuesday afternoon. Three trucks and three passenger cars were involved in the accident.
Several people were seriously injured in a collision on the N48 near Zuidwolde in Drenthe on Tuesday afternoon. The police do not yet know how many victims there are or what their condition is, a spokesperson said.
According to a spokesperson for Rijkswaterstaat, damage has occurred to the asphalt and the guardrails.
