The ice problems caused by leaking water on the N31 near Harlingen and the A28 near Hoogeveen have been temporarily or partially resolved. The N31 towards the Afsluitdijk reopened around 2:00 PM on Saturday. "The temperature is now so high that the ice is gone, but the leak hasn't been resolved yet," said a Rijkswaterstaat spokesperson. The road will close again at 10:00 PM due to expected night frost.
