An earthquake near the coast of Myanmar shook Lampang, causing many people to flee from high-rise buildings. On May 18th, residents in high-rise buildings in Lampang province felt the tremors after an earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale struck near the southern coast of Myanmar, approximately 247 kilometers southwest of Mae Sot district in Tak province, Thailand, at 9:05 AM.
