My first 100 days: As One Nation's newest MP, I'm in the fight for our regions
Farley says water policy, regional infrastructure and veteran support will guide his agenda as parliament reviews the Water Act and Murray-Darling Basin Plan.
One Nation MP David Farley marked his first 100 days in Parliament this week, reaffirming his commitment to return productivity and capacity to the Farrer electorate.
Drawing on five decades of experience in Australian and international agribusiness, Farley measures parliamentary decisions by their ability to boost local economic output and infrastructure resilience.
Parliament is currently reviewing the Water Act and the Murray-Darling Basin Plan, prompting Farley to advocate for policies balancing environmental stewardship with food security in the Basin.
Establishing offices in Albury and Griffith, the new MP also advocates against a proposed $5000 annual cap on allied health services for veterans.
Traveling throughout Farrer remains a priority for Farley, who aims to ensure regional needs are clearly reflected in national policy beyond his initial 100-day period.
