In the Ukrainian forests, there are many unusual species of mushrooms, such as the Hericium erinaceus, also known as the lion's grill, which has been used for over a thousand years in medicine in Japan, China, and South Korea.
For the past few days, there's been a boom in the forests of boletes, also known as edible boletes. Along with the bay bolete, they're among the most commonly picked mushrooms at this time of year. However, they have many similar relatives, including the poisonous satanic bolete. So, it's best to be careful.

The mushroom boom is already a fact. The forests are now overflowing with boletus, kites, saffron milk caps, and butter mushrooms, among others.
