The European Parliament (EP) will not vote on a European Union budget for 2028-2034 that would propose dangerous cuts for Romania or any other Member State, gave assurances on Tuesday to MEP Siegfried Mureşan, EP co-rapporteur for the future multi-annual financial framework (MFF), reports Agerpres.

Siegfried Mureșan spoke in plenary of the European Parliament about the future multiannual budget of the European Union and the priorities that the European institution must take into account in the coming period.
Mr Siegfried Mureșan said on Tuesday that the future multiannual budget of the European Union must provide funding for the support of farmers, the development of agriculture and regions, but also for security, economy, innovation and digitisation.
