- Munster Rugby appointed Roger Randle as their new attack coach on a two-year contract, with the move taking effect this July following the 2026 Super Rugby season, subject to obtaining a valid work permit.
- Randle joins from the Hamilton-based Super Rugby side, the Chiefs, where he worked for eight seasons under Munster head coach Clayton McMillan, reuniting the coaching partners.
- During a 12-year professional career, Randle competed in New Zealand, France, and Italy, scoring 32 tries in 59 appearances for the Chiefs and winning two gold medals with New Zealand Sevens at the Commonwealth Games.
- Succeeding Mike Prendergast, who departs for Bath, Randle will work with skills and assistant attack coach Mossy Lawler. McMillan said Randle has "incredible work-ethic and ingenuity when it comes to the attack aspect of the game."
- Randle stated his immediate focus remains on finishing the current season with the Chiefs before transitioning to his new role in Ireland this summer.
