The former CAQ minister Andrée Laforest still refuses to recognize the victory of his opponent Luc Boivin in the Saguenay City Hall race. The candidate cites "irregularities" and reflects on the possibility of asking for a recount.
The City interrupted the counting of ballot boxes around 1:30 a.m. last night, without being able to determine a winner between Luc Boivin and Andrée Laforest.
He won 44.96 per cent of the vote, held by his opponent, the former CAQ minister Andrée Laforest, who won 44.6 per cent of the vote.
