An intense search operation took place on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning in Pucón, after the disappearance of two Canadian tourists in the Crateres Parasitos sector, located on the slopes of the Villarrica volcano. According to the Office of Disaster Risk Management (GRD) of the Municipality of Pucón, the tourists were located alive thanks to the use of emergency municipal drones, after Carabineros managed to contact them around 5:00 a.m.
