One person is in custody following a drug bust after an investigation. According to Sheriff Tommy Jones, on May 27, 2026, a joint investigation between the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Madisonville Police Department, Sweetwater Police Department, and the Vonore Police Department led to the execution of a search warrant in the Oak Grove Road area.
