Mullen Group Reports $36M Q2 Profit, up From $25.6M a Year Ago
Acquisitions and higher fuel surcharge revenue helped lift quarterly results as all segments posted year-over-year gains, the company said.
On Thursday, July 23, 2026, Mullen Group Ltd. reported record second-quarter revenue of $609.3 million and net income of $36 million, up from $25.6 million last year.
Chair and Senior Executive Officer Murray Mullen noted that the freight recession burdening the industry for nearly three years has ended, citing June as the best month the group has had in years.
Revenue rose 12.6 percent, bolstered by $44.7 million from acquisitions and $28.3 million in higher fuel surcharge revenue, while OIBDA reached $103.9 million, a 35.6 percent increase.
The Board approved a $50.0 million increase in the capital program for this year and indicated support for further investments and acquisitions meeting stringent guidelines.
Mullen Group expects to finalize additional transactions throughout the year as increased service demand creates high-paying jobs for the 8,600 employees and associates driving the business.
