Mud and rock slides close road accessing popular recreation site below Green Mountain Reservoir dam in Heeney

A rock and mud slide has caused the Bureau of Reclamation to close Summit County Road 1812, which accesses an area below Green Mountain Dam and its power plant. The closure will remain in place until debris and mud are removed and the road is repaired. The cleanup and repair of the road is expected to run through the month of April.
