Mt. Kanlaon records more volcanic quakes in 24 hours

MANILA, Philippines — Kanlaon Volcano on Negros Island registered 17 volcanic earthquakes in the past 24 hours, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) on Friday. This number is higher than the 13 volcanic earthquakes recorded on the previous day, Phivolcs said.
