LAMITAN CITY, Basilan — The Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD) has distributed social pensions to 16,625 indigent senior citizens across Basilan during a mass payout from August 9 to 24, 2026. According to Social Pension Regional Focal Person Anisah Amerol, each recipient received P6,000, which covers two quarters of stipends at P3,000
