Two decades later, the gang has come back together for The Devil Wears Prada 2, trying to recapture some of that magic. The filmmaking team of director David Frankel and screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna have also returned, and they have done a good job of keeping the tone of the original film, but a shifting power dynamic leaves the story lacking.
'The Devil Wears Prada 2' is an enjoyable undressing of a brutal and superficial fashion world. And the film contains a genius that keeps the audience captivated from start to finish.
