Langley RCMP responds to hit and run involving police vehicle
Langley RCMP seeks public help identifying two suspects who fled after a hit-and-run with an Abbotsford Police vehicle; minor injuries reported to the officer involved.
- On Nov. 15, 2025, the Langley RCMP said it is investigating a hit-and-run involving an unmarked Abbotsford Police vehicle, which occurred around 7:20 p.m. on Friday on the 5200 block of 264th Street.
- An on-duty Abbotsford Police officer was driving the unmarked vehicle when it collided with a white GMC Canyon pickup, and officers from the Langley RCMP detachment and Abbotsford Police responded to assist.
- Police appeal to dash-cam witnesses as two occupants of the white GMC Canyon pickup fled the scene on foot; Langley RCMP requests calls to the Langley RCMP tip line 604-532-3200 for Friday around 7 p.m.
- The Abbotsford Police officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital, while Mounties say they are still working to identify and find the suspects.
