Mount Nittany Healthcare Workers To Strike
Around 950 unionized healthcare workers at Mount Nittany Medical Center are launching a five-day strike starting today marking the hospital’s first labor strike in over two decades. The walkout will run through July 31st. Workers are demanding better wages to match inflation, increased staffing, and better security. Talks aren’t scheduled to resume until August 3rd.
