SUMTER CO., S.C. (WOLO) – South Carolina Highway Patrol says a motorcyclist was killed in a collision Thursday afternoon. It happened at approximately 3:25 p.m. at US-76/Broad Street at Loring Mill Road. According to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt, a 2024 Yamaha motorcycle struck a 2020 Ford SUV with four people inside that tried to cross traffic. The motorcyclist died from their injuries.
