They submit a motion of censure against Giannina Avendaño, president of the Constitutional Commission, for alleged lack of transparency and poor management of the parliamentary group of the Chamber of Deputies.
As the deputy of Fuerza Popular, Arturo Alegría a El Comercio, said, members of the Constitution Committee of the Chamber of Deputies filed a motion of censure against the president of that working group, Giannina Avendaño.
Deputies of Fuerza Popular that make up this commission announced the presentation of the motion at the beginning of the debate of the prediction about the request of powers of the Executive.
Congressman Jaime Abensur questioned the conduct of the legislator and asked that Fernando García temporarily assume the presidency. According to him, the Rules of Procedure of the Chamber allow to process the request and that there is a history of similar procedures in commissions.
