After a strong citizen mobilization, the expulsion to Morocco of Nisrine Driouich, mother of six children in Vesoul (Haute-Saône), was suspended. The prefecture of Haute-Saône, however, invites him to consider a "voluntary return" pending a final judicial decision.

Since 9 August, the case of Nisrine, a 40-year-old mother, has made a lot of talk and may have found a positive outcome. The Prefect of Haute-Saône announced this Wednesday that he was suspending the execution of the obligation to leave the Moroccan national's French territory (OQTF). His expulsion, scheduled for 24 August, is therefore set aside pending the decision of the Administrative Court of Appeal of Nancy.
Placed in administrative detention on 9 August in Metz, a woman of Moroccan nationality and mother of six children, domiciled in Vesoul, Haute-Saône, is subject to an obligation to leave French territory (OQTF).
