Mother of Genesis Reid Charged with Capital Murder, Officials to Search Landfill for Child’s Remains

- Authorities are preparing to search the Coffee County Landfill for Genesis' remains after the duffel bag was picked up December 26 and repeatedly compacted; officials narrowed the search area to about 200 feet by 100 feet and 8 to 10 feet deep, warning the process could take 10 weeks or longer.
