Most Americans oppose East Wing demolition for Trump ballroom, poll finds

- Intensity varies sharply among strong Trump approvers and strong Trump disapprovers, with 58% of the former strongly supporting and 82% of the latter strongly opposing the demolition.
- The poll completed 2,725 interviews, reporting a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 1.9 percentage points and a design effect of 1.08, with larger subgroup errors, ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos said.
