The Russian Ministry of Culture signed a contract of 19.6 million rubles (about EUR 220,000) to restore the mausoleum of the founder of the Soviet State, Vladimir Lenine, gave the local press today. According to the news agency RIA Novosti, specialists will have to perform "emergency repairs" in the building located in the centre of the Red Square in Moscow, as well as works to adapt the mausoleum to "modern use".
