The resolution urges Rabat to fulfil its commitments in immigration control
Rabat, 18 Sep 2026 - Morocco believes that the resolution adopted last Thursday by the European Parliament (EP) on the migration avalanche in Ceuta "does not include any charges or imposition" against Rabat, according to the Moroccan ambassador to the EU and NATO.
The European Parliament condemned the massive crossings into Ceuta and the instrumentalisation of irregular migration as pressure against Spain.
