- Despite the addition of roughly 3.04 million IBIT shares, the position's total value fell about 18% to $549 million from $667 million as Bitcoin's price declined during the quarter.
- Morgan Stanley grew its exposure by raising Circle Internet Group holdings to approximately 8.32 million shares, while reporting new positions in Grayscale Solana Staking ETF and Fidelity Solana Fund worth about $4.25 million and $2.26 million.
- The bank reported about 550,000 fewer Coinbase shares, reduced its CleanSpark position by more than 3.1 million shares, and fully exited its roughly 8 million-share Bitfarms holding.
- In addition to its ETF positions, Morgan Stanley reported 2.57 million shares of its own Bitcoin Trust and completed an E*TRADE rollout in July, allowing customers to trade Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana.
